Hello,

My name is Landon Brown and I operate Creative Custom Gold: an independent, family-owned, Canadian small business. I pride myself on hand-crafted consultation, design, and execution of custom jewellery. I also love to find ways to include evolving technology into the creative process. As any artist can attest, there is no equal feeling to creating something beautiful and seeing how meaningful it can be to others. I look forward to creating treasured pieces and maintaining the ones already out there!

I Was born and raised in Drumheller Alberta, Canada and I love it here. The natural landscape is amazing every single day. I was trained in the craft of goldsmithing by Doug Wade! He is a true master of over 48 years experience. I must say there was a lot to learn but becoming a goldsmith has been an incredible learning experience and plenty of fun.

Two projects I am especially excited about are Loved Ones’ Crossword Pendants and custom made rings. Loved Ones Crosswords are a treasured heirloom custom piece, originally imagined and designed by myself and, to my knowledge, are not available anywhere else. They are in the form of a pendant that is comprised of the names of a family, along with each person’s birthstone. Custom made rings are extremely rewarding as they are usually an everyday piece that, in addition to an aesthetic appeal, brings joy and meaning to a client. Whether it is reworking family heirlooms or designing an engagement ring, custom rings are diverse, exciting, and incredibly rewarding.

On a more personal note, I spend my time wandering the badlands with my dog Tugboat, playing music and board games with friends, and trying out photography as a new hobby.
