Based on 1800’s antique globes that were hand-carved by talented goldsmiths, this globe has been revamped with modern 3D design and printing. This globe opens to reveal icons etched onto 6 pyramids, representative of aspects of the masonic order. These globes have been recreated and can be cast in solid brass, silver, or gold, modelled after the antique, handmade globes of the 1800’s and 1900’s in Europe. Globes are polished and hand assembled by head goldsmith and masonic brother, Doug and the hinges are solid stainless steel. From design to assembly, these globes have been and will always be made in Canada.
Globes are 20 mms in diameter when closed and form a cross when opened, measuring approximately 40 mm x 30 mm.
